I had heard about Seni for some time, it is a trade show of martial arts and especially combat sports organized in England.

Curiosity, but especially the desire to learn and deal with other reality, forces me to go in person to visit this martial event in the Expo center in London on 29^th and 30^th of May

Also take this opportunity to set some appointments with our partners in the UK, with Swiss promoter Carl Emery in view of the upcoming collaborations between professionals and  WPKA world President, the greek George Toktaridis with which, after two long meetings, we signed an important agreement that will bring the entire international WPKA basin at Marathon Martial in full contact kickboxing and light!!!!!!!!

A large exhibition hall of 15,000 square meters hosting the event: commercial stands of sector firms, associations of martial arts and combat sports stands, a cage for MMA matches and tatami for competitions of karate, Kickboxing, Judo , Taekwondo, Capoeira, freestyles and traditional forms and ,above all, Brasilian Ju Jitsu.On Marathon we will have 30,000 square feet and it does something because Versilia is not London so our development sounds even more miraculous.

I immediately realize that in UK MMA and Brasilian Jiu Jitsu rule the other disciplines: the cage will work continuously for the next two days from morning to night with dozens of matches that gather a crowd of enthusiasts. Brasilian will take place on 6 available tatami with hundreds of athletes engaged in competitive and the permanent presence of Gracie Barra.

And you know, innovations in martial world almost always start, except for the Martial Marathon of the States, to arrive in the United Kingdom, through the umbilical cord between the two territories, and finally (but with a delay of at least 4 - 5 years) in Europe. Is not a case that we have the cage and this is a great success.

A central raised stage for performances by some acrobatic martial interpreters, booth of British Army, an international competition of armwrestling and fitness.

A small area reserved for seminars opened to the public and a reserved ring for Muay Thai British  Federation of IFMA.

A pleasant encounter cheers Sunday: at noon I notice our friend Carlo Di Blasi with whom I spend about an hour talking on the event and on the awesome potential of our Martial Marathon that will consist on much wider spaces than Seni and whose reputation is growing around the world.

I spend a little time with friends of Kung Fu Magazine, present with a booth and busy dispensing interviews with the most famous names in the English and European martial world.

I know many italian masters who I regularly invite at Martial Marathon and I must say that seeing pictures and video material that I had brought, they are strongly affected by the size of our event.

Many of them I will meet again with happyness in Italy.

Overall a good organization, I must say, a good response from the trade stands and by the public but objectively quite different than our Marathon, much more broader.

After this experience I am convinced even more that there is no event in the world of martial arts and combat sports like our, and believe me, I’m not conceited when I say that.

The vision of our president Panfietti, his precise and accurate reading of the martial world in continuos changing (if you want to look in the right perspective ...) has made Martial Marathon an unique event. And with prestigious news of this 2010 edition, will become unattainable. The international seminars that will attract as many as 40 national and international federations, the performance of certain tournaments and cups of international federations, even official, and expecially the ORIENTAL FESTIVAL that analyze and will show all aspects of martial arts and culture in those countries.
We posed for first a milestone in martial arts and combat sport that will not fail to astound and amaze the many visitors who come to the Marathon this year from all around the world, sure to have landed in the biggest events that exist throughout the planet.
